A Message From The One True God for Hindu Pilgrims

A message for Pilgrims.

For what are you seeking?

My dear pilgrim friend: as you read this, you are making your pilgrimage to Sabrimala, or some other "Holy Place". You perhaps have come a long distance, you have sacrificed much, you have endured many hardships, you have spent a lot of money. Perhaps you have begged from others, thereby demeaning yourself, you may have even borrowed money to enable you to make this journey, money which you will have to repay by long hours of sweat and labour.

For what are you seeking?

Maybe you are suffering from some illness, and you hope that by fulfilling the rituals at the mountain temple you will obtain healing.

Perhaps it is material blessings that you seek, money, success, a new car, a house. but there is something more important than all of these things.

Perhaps you are unable to have children, or want to get your daughter, or son suitably married, things that are quite right in themselves.

Or could it be that you are burdened with guilt, that you are longing to find real peace and lasting happiness? Perhaps you have an inner longing to really come to know God, the true God? Then it is all too likely that you will go away disappointed, because you have come seeking at the wrong place, and are seeking from the wrong source! It is almost certain that you have wasted your money, you have gone into debt all in vain, you have endured all the hardships, for nothing.

There is only ONE TRUE GOD.

This great and loving God is your creator, He has a deep personal interest in your happiness, He understands your longings, your hopes, your disappointments. He loves you, and longs to give you His peace and His salvation.

He has created you in such a way that you cannot find satisfaction apart from Himself. Because He created you, He knows you through and through, He knows your inner longings, and your better desires. But He also knows every detail of your life, and has a written record of every sin you have committed. He knows that even if every selfish desire that you cherish were to be granted, it would never bring peace to your soul, while the matter of your sins remains unsettled.

The true God is a Righteous God.

The true God is a righteous God, and a holy God. He cannot overlook the basic cause of your present unhappiness, which is your sin. It is sin that separates you from Him, it is sin that denies you any sense of peace.

The true God loves you, and wants to give you real peace and happiness, but He will not do this until the question of your sins is settled righteously.

If you are honest, you will admit that you have done many things in your life which you know to be wrong. This is what the Bible calls sin, and God hates sin. Yet He loves the sinner, He loves you.

No matter what your religious background may be, no matter what sacrifice you make, no matter how much you may try to punish yourself, no matter what religious rituals you may undergo, none of these things can cleanse your soul of even one sin.

The first man whom God created, (Adam), sinned, he disobeyed God, surrendered his innocence, became the slave of sin, and the possessor of a fallen sinful nature, which he transmitted to all his descendants.

God tried out Adam's descendants, in different circumstances, over a period of 4,000 years, but man proved himself incapable of meeting God's righteous requirements. Then at exactly the right time, God Himself became man. The Lord Jesus Christ, who existed from all eternity, left the glory of His heavenly abode, took a place a little lower than the angels, and was born as a baby at Bethlehem. He came for one supreme purpose, so that He might die in your place. That He might take your sins upon Himself, and that He might bear the punishment that your sins deserved.

CHRIST JESUS CAME INTO THE WORLD TO SAVE SINNERS, 1 Timothy, 1; 15. WHO HIMSELF BORE OUR SINS IN HIS OWN BODY ON THE TREE, (CROSS), 1 Peter, 2; 24.

The Lord Jesus did for you, what you could never do for yourself, and what no other one could do.

THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. Romans 6; 23.

To have this gift, you need not go one step further, God will give it to you where you are, whether traveling in a bus, or sitting by the roadside, or in some shelter. Here is how to obtain that gift.

(1) Repent of your sins. Acts 3;19.

To repent means to be genuinely sorry for the bad things that you have done, and to be willing to turn from them. This includes a willingness to turn away from all false gods, because to worship false gods is sin in the sight of the TRUE GOD.

(2) BELIEVE IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. Acts, 16; 31

To believe in our Lord Jesus Christ means that you are willing to place your whole trust and confidence in Him, to save and to keep you forever.

It means that you are to believe in your heart, not just in your mind, but deep down in your heart, that the Lord Jesus came from heaven for you. That when He died on the cross, He died for you. That when He hung and suffered there, when He shed His precious blood, He did it for you.

(3) RECEIVE THE LORD JESUS BY FAITH, AS YOUR OWN PERSONAL SAVIOR, AND CONFESS HIM AS YOUR LORD.

After the Lord Jesus died on the cross, two secret disciples of His took down His precious body from that cross, wound it around with a linen cloth, or winding sheet, and laid that body in a new tomb that was hewn in the rock. A great circular stone was rolled across the entrance to that tomb, and it was sealed. But He rose from the dead on the third day, and the tomb was found to be empty. He appeared to His disciples on the evening of that day, and requested food which He ate in their presence. HE IS ALIVE! Because of this, you can now receive Him, by faith, as your own Savior, right where you are.

TURN TO GOD NOW!

Just bow your head now in His presence, because He is right there where you are, and pray this simple prayer from your heart. But first let me warn you, IT MUST COME FROM YOUR HEART, or else it means nothing.

A PRAYER OF CONFESSION AND ACCEPTANCE

"Dear Lord Jesus, what I have read in this little paper seems so wonderful, but I believe it.

I know that I am a sinner, I have done many bad things, I have worshipped false gods, I am truly sorry for all this, I truly repent, please forgive me.

I do believe in my heart that you came from heaven for me. I do believe that you bore the punishment due to my sins, when you bled and died on the cross, I do believe that you died for me. I trust my soul, my life to you now, forever.

I do believe in my heart that you rose from the dead, and that you are alive, and by faith I receive you now as my own Savior, I receive in you, God's gift of eternal life. I now confess that you are my Lord, both now, and forever.

Thank you Lord Jesus for hearing my prayer, I believe that you have saved me, I am yours and you are mine, forever.

I ask this prayer and offer my heartfelt thanks in your wonderful name, Lord Jesus Christ." Amen!

If you have sincerely, from your heart, prayed this prayer, then God has saved you. You now belong to the Lord Jesus forever, and from this day will worship only Him, and seek to follow Him.

Learn to pray to the Lord Jesus, and to God who is now your heavenly Father each day. Pray about everything, and remember to thank Him when He answers your prayers. Ask Him to lead you to a company of true Christian believers, who gather simply, to the name of the Lord Jesus alone.

Avoid those who make false claims, who tell you that you need to speak in tongues, they are misled.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU!

If you are still in doubt, just pray to the Lord Jesus, ask Him to show you whether or not what you have read in this paper is true. If you are sincere, and really want to know, He will reveal it to you.
